Nestled on a back-road of Edgewood, Edgemont Jr. High may be small, but it's not lacking in the arts.

While many others may be tentatively plucking some strings, these teens gave it their all with music like Tumbalalaika and Cantante Domino from the Concert Choir.

The Jazz band performed Nite In Tunisia and Sing, Sing, Sing.



The Edgemont fiddlers then strutted their stuff with Irish Melody, and an outstanding solo was performed by Alex Mangubat






Not to be outdone, the Orchestra performed Hopak, Legends of the Fall, and then, to lighten the mood a bit, Take Five.
The full Orchestra went on to perform Symphone No. 1 (4th. Movement)




The Concert Band really showed their zeal performing Suite Provencale (with Un ange a fa la crido, Adam e sa Coumpagno, Lou Fustie and Lis Escoubo), Concerto for the Faculty and Band, and, at the end, the students gave their teacher a jersey as they performed The Can Can.

Anyone who says teens these days have no discipline haven't been to a Jr. High concert lately. Or maybe it's just this Junior High.
