Are you interested in learning Web design in a fun and exciting work place? Do you yearn to find out what it really takes to be part of an Internet team? Daffodil Valley Times (through Intra-Designs, Inc.) is looking for 2 qualified applicants to assist in developing and maintaining our community web site at www.daffodilvalleytimes.com, as well as assisting with the development and maintenance of client Web sites throughout the summer of 2005.

This is the perfect opportunity to get involved with a growing company that has a passion for community involvement. Hours will be flexible. This is an unpaid position, but company stock options are available for people that complete this internship. This is a temporary part-time 300 hour paid internship with the possibility to become a part (or full) time position within 4 months.

Required Skills:

• A positive attitude.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with all levels of the department.
• Self-motivated and personable with a positive customer service attitude and demeanor.
• Typing skills sufficient to create and edit web pages quickly and accurately.
• Able to work effectively in an interdependent team environment.
• Ability to sit for long periods (up to 4 hours) in front of a computer.
• Vision sufficient to read computer terminal located on desktop.

Helpful Skills:

• HTML proficient skills sufficient to develop well-coded and accurate Web pages.
• Strong web page-design skills sufficient to work on highly visible company sites.
• Excellent organizational skills sufficient to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Strong interest in technological advancement and applications, with emphasis on the Internet.
• Some experience with Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Perl, MySQL, PHP helpful.
