DeCoursey Park

decoursey view

DeCoursey and Clarks Creek Parks may as well be one-and-the-same. Located right across the street from each other, it seems they would be. They have completely different offerings though.

Beautiful DeCoursey Pond
There is a pond available to take your children down to do some fishing, The pond is stocked with fish every year from an adjacent fish pond. Fishing pond, two fishing piers, 1 picnic shelter, restrooms, a play area for children, and a beautiful creek. Once again, no swimming. In fact, look at this sign. Isn't it interesting you can catch fish from this polluted waterway, but not swim in it?

The ducks are friendly though... :)
